Check out some new pictures posted today!
Well, today we operated on 32 patients. A very long day but some amazing results. The bad news is that I (Margaret) am writing this because Brian has gotten sick. Actually, we have had a lot of members of the team get sick. Yesterday we had about 8 "throwing" and today a couple of more. So, Brian ended up in one of the recovery room beds on an IV. He is better now tonight, they are pumping him with antibiotics. So, that mystery food I keep talking about - I haven't eaten much of it and so far I have been OK. So, I have no intention of eating anything I can't completely identify. Today for lunch I ate pringles and peanut M&Ms. It seemed much safer than the other 'stuff' they were serving for lunch.
So, again, it was HOT today. The recovery room is so hot, the patients' mothers spend most of their time fanning the babies coming out of anesthesia. But we got some good pictures (including one of Brian on the table). Today, we operated on this 62 year old guy who had the largest growth growing off the side of his face. It hung all the way down to his neck - they say it weighed almost 3 pounds. He now looks like a new person. His two sons were with him and they wept uncontrollably when he came out of the OR. It was truly remarkable. We also operated on a lot of very cute babies who are now even cuter.
Brian has a new friend - patient #262 - he is the one with the bubbles in the picture below - will post his after pictures tomorrow.
Again, thanks for all your messages, we read them all every day! Tomorrow we have 37 patients on the schedule - will be another long and hot day.
Love to all.

Hi Margaret and Brian,
This is Sue- I hope Brian is feeling better. I think you are right to stick with the all M&M diet!!!
The pictures are compelling and amazing- thanks for sharing them with us. You are doing such amazing work. Hope it cools down as well.
Take care,
Palm Coast Day 4.
I am sunburned and have extremely ugly tanlines. Have now played all four courses. Ocean Hammock was spectacular, grandstands are up for the tournament, if i hadnt played so awful i would have felt like a pro. Conservatory yesterday was absurd. 7800 yards. I am long, but not that long. Hardest golf course i have ever played, resulted in another very large number, but played with pro there who gave me good tip that helped. Today played championship course at Ricky's. Played from US Open qualifier tees. Much shorter but still hard. Getting better, shot 37 on back nine. Ricky shot 1 under. Would have qualified for US Open with that score last year. Playing Ryder Cup vs members tomorrow at same course. We are probably going to get our asses kicked, I am nervous. Big dinner tonite with all of our opponents. Sounds like things are going good there, talk to you soon.

P.S. Clubhouse at Conservatory makes that royal palace look doghouse. There is silly money here.

Hi Maragaret and Brian. I hope Brian you are on the "road to recovery". A few more days of incredible work and you will be back on US soil, in your own beds, drinking fresh water, and having an amazing dinner cooked by Mark. O.K. Maybe we can scratch the last part. It will be wonderful to have you home. We can't wait to see you. Safe journey. Love Nancy and Chuck.
